What are the benefits of teletherapy?
It's not as new as you think! The American Speech and Hearing Association has recognized teletherapy as a service delivery model since 2005. Teletherapy is engaging and fun for everyone due to the number of resources that can be used. It's convenient and saves time commuting to a location for services. In addition, it is evidence-based! Studies have shown that virtual therapy is just as effective as in-person.
